Where Sore Legs From the Slopes Go to Recover
Tucked past the pine courtyard at the quiet end of the resort, Cedar & Stone was designed around two very different guests: the one coming off a full day on the mountain, and the one who hasn't left a lounge chair since check-in. Both walk out the same door feeling better than they walked in.
Built Around What the Mountain and the Lake Actually Do to Your Body
Post-Slope Recovery Massage
Deep-tissue focused work on legs, calves, and shoulders — the exact spots skiers and hikers tend to flag at the front desk. Booked most heavily between 3 and 6 PM once lifts close.
Juniper & Clay Facial
A rotating, farm-sourced ingredient list pulled from growers around the basin rather than a fixed national product line. What's on the menu shifts a little by season.
Cedar Steam Circuit
A guided loop through the cedar steam room, a cold-plunge basin, and a mineral soak, closing with a scalp-and-shoulder finish. Our therapists recommend this one on the first afternoon of a stay, not the last.
Two-Chair Suite
A private room with side-by-side tables for couples or friends who'd rather not split up for an hour, with the same soaking tub access afterward as the standalone couples booking used to include.
Hands & Feet
Standalone manicure and pedicure bookings, or tacked onto any massage or facial without adding much to your total time in the chair.
Prenatal Session
Positioning support and lighter pressure work with a therapist trained specifically for second- and third-trimester guests.
Your Booking Buys You the Whole Afternoon
Most guests underestimate how long a spa visit actually takes here, because the appointment itself is only part of it. Anyone with a booked treatment keeps access to the relaxation lounge, the soaking pool, and the steam room for the rest of the day — not just the window around their session.
- Indoor soaking pool, heated and open every day of the year
- Cedar steam room and a separate dry sauna
- Quiet lounge with tea service and light snacks
- Robe, slipper, and locker use included with any booking
When to Actually Book
Ski season Saturday afternoons are, without question, our tightest window — a lot of guests try to squeeze a massage in right after the lifts close, so that slot fills first. Hotel guests can attach a treatment straight onto their room reservation, and walk-in bookings are open to anyone visiting the south shore, not just resort guests. Show up 15 to 20 minutes ahead of your slot if you want real time in the lounge beforehand rather than rushing straight into the treatment room.
Pair a Treatment With Your Stay
Some of our getaway packages fold spa credit directly into the room rate.
